From the game Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 for the Nintendo Gamecube
Start by building up your special meter. Then, head towards a ramp that you will be able to spine transfer to the other side on. After you hit the ramp, press in the button combination for one of your specials, followed immediately by a spine transfer. If you did it right your special should show up in white text like a normal trick, while the spine transfer shows up orange... as if it were a special.
