For the game Future Tactics: The Uprising for the Nintendo Gamecube
On the second Episode of the game, make a hole in the wall that the catapault sits on and try to jump up the wall. If you can't get up the wall, keep making holes that go all the way up the wall. Once you get up the wall, the creatures shouldn't be able to get up the wall and they should self destruct if you're close enough to the edge of the cliff. This makes the episode a whole lot simpler, since they can't reach you.
