From the game Final Fantasy III for the Super Nintendo

Start a battle with any monster that isn't supposed to jump (all of them except reach frog, really). Have a party member cast Muddle on your ally that has the Palidor esper. Right afterwards, have the first (which muddle was cast upon) call the esper Palidor. Only your ally should jump on the Palidor, and he will disappear. He is untargetable, and is uncontrollable unless he hits himself. The enemy(s) will jump soon afterwards and hit your ally(s). If you happen to regain control of your character (by having he or a monster hit him), then you cannot cast any curative or effect spells, lores, or otherwise, because it targets you first, but you are not there.
